At 9:30am a message was left on the forum from Nikki’s sister Joanne which was a shock to us all.

My beloved sister died last night! She took an overdose of antidepressants and died at three twenty this morning!

Nikki was a valued member to this forum. If anybody would like to leave a message to be read at funeral or such like please send me private message.

At 3:35pm another message was posted from Joanne

My name is Joanne I am 22!! I am Nikki’s elder sister. She has been very ill and depressed for a long while. She had had few rough days and after row with partner decided to end her life. No fault of her lovely partner. She was just very ill.

She took loads of anti depressants with a Smirnoff Ice! She text myself Tal and her Dad. We found her in flat under her duvet. She said leave her alone and would not go with the paramedics. We convinced her to go. She was very dozy in the ambulance. When in hospital she started to fit, went into cardiac arrest.

They tried two and half hours to revive her but electronic part of her heart dead. As was her blood pressure. She was brain dead too. We saw her she look pretty and peaceful. I would appreciate respect of her. Not judgement on they way she died. She was mentally ill. My email is ********@hotmail.com (Please comment below) any genuine friend please feel free to contact me. Nikki was much loved on the BITS forum she joined on 7th November 2002 and had clocked up a massive 16,697 posts. It is a huge loss to the site and to the Nelly Furtado fan community. May she rest in peace.
