Star World to Air Summer Music Extravaganza 0

Star World will telecast the summer music extravaganza from London’s Hyde Park on Tuesday 24th August at 9:00 pm.

Filmed at it’s usual annual venue in London’s Hyde Park, The Prince’s Trust, for the seventh year running, stages Britain’s largest one-day live multi-artist concert to a full capacity audience of 100,000, informed an official release.

The artists participating in the show include Will Young, Jamelia, Avril Lavigne, Sugababes, Nelly Furtado and Lionel Richie.

This special concert will benefit The Prince’s Trust, set up by HRH The Prince of Wales to offer opportunities to young people when no one else will. Through a variety of programmes across the UK, The Trust works with 14 to 30 year olds who are unemployed or face other barriers in life, providing support and basic financial assistance to help them learn new skills, get into work and start businesses, added the release.

Open-Air Concert in Madeira 1

Nelly was invited to perform an Open-Air Concert on the Portuguese island Madeira. It will take place on the Pontinha (where all the big cruise ships dock). The organiser of this event is an initiative called ‘Madeira - European Region 2004′. The concert will take place on 28th August 2004.

There’s also a rumour going around that Nelly will play a hour long radio show (that will be broadcasted live, and the radio channel always gives away tickets) next month. The show is called Live-Kantine. From what I know the show would be in the Munich area then, it’s a German radio channel called Antenne Bayern. But so far there’s no confirmation. They state it as planned…G
